A new interactive map of Scotland has been created to ‘highlight the health risks linked to neighbourhoods with an excess of alcohol and tobacco outlets'.

The website allows users to map alcohol and tobacco outlet density for small neighbourhoods across Scotland. You can also access alcohol-related death rates, lung cancer and lung disease death rates, and deprivation. It can be searched by town or postcode and there is a download facility which allows the downloading of the data for either the whole of Scotland or selected areas.

The Centre for Research on Environment Society and Health (CRESH) launched the interactive map yesterday. The map can be accessed here.
